Martin Hale, Jr.
Martin is the founder and CEO of Hale Capital Partners (HCP), an unconventional private equity firm that provides the resources (via debt or equity), processes and values to support talented management teams as they strive to accelerate innovation and growth in public companies, divestitures, special situations and other lower middle market companies.

Before starting HCP in 2007, Martin was a Managing Director and member of the founding team of Pequot Ventures (now known as FirstMark Capital), which he joined in 1997. He served as a member of the Investment and Operating Committees from 2002 to 2007. Prior thereto, Martin was an associate with Geocapital Partners, an early stage venture capital firm. Prior to Geocapital Partners, Martin was an analyst in information technology M&A at Broadview International. Mr. Hale earned a B.A. in History of Art from Yale University, cum laude with distinction, in 1994. Martin was graduated from Milton Academy in 1990. Martin currently serves on the board of directors of Lantronix Corporation (Nasdaq: LTRX), QL2 Software, Inc., Patch Media, Galois, and FalconStor Software (OTC: FALC). Martin is Chairman of the People for Greenspace Foundation.
